And that Rizzo the Rat was named after Dustin Hoffman’s Midnight Cowboy character? My favorite muppet is Rowlf the Dog. He was a sarcastic puppet from his youth. It’s impossible to describe the sensation of watching a Spike Jonze music video. That tingle you get down your spine when your brain realizes that it is watching choreographed precision light years better than any other video it’s watched before. He ties beats and sounds with some of the best visually stimulating concepts I’ve seen. In my opinion, his are the hottest videos around - even his outrageous and off-beat stuff like “Weapon of Choice” and “Buddy Holly” have something rare and mystifying.
