Lizards, and Camels and Elephants, Oh My
Wednesday, January 28th, 2009So few of us get to touch an exotic animal - or what we consider exotic. Think about all the animals you talk about when you’re a kid. The animals that you used to pretend to be when you had make-believe sessions with your six-year-old friends. Lions, tigers, rhinoceroses, elephants, giraffes, pythons - these are the great animals of the American child’s world. These are the one’s we want to touch. And sorry, zoo’s are neat and have their place, but to ride one, to see one in the wild - that’s special.
